At Hobart Dental Imaging we pride ourselves on the personalised service and rapport we have developed with our Referrers. Our aim is to provide a friendly, efficient and professional service to all of our patients.
Cone Beam CT (CBCT)
Using our DEDICATED CBCT machine, we offer 100% Bulk Billed exams for Specialist and GP referrals. The award winning iCAT Unit uses the LOWEST radiation to produce optimal Imaging.
OPG
Walk in service for OPGS - we BULK BILL all OPGS - just bring your referral and current Medicare number.
Lat/PA Ceph
As with OPGS, no appointment is necessary and we BULK BILL these xrays - remember your Referral and Medicare number.
TMJ Imaging
We offer a walk in service for TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) imaging. This type of xray is eligible for BULK BILLING, so remember to bring your Medicare number with you.
Tomography
No appointment is needed for Tomography - This examination is also Bulk Billed on presentation of a valid Medicare card.

Amanda has many years experience working in both Dentistry and Imaging in Hobart. Amanda is a qualified Dental Assistant and has her Certificate IV in Dental Radiography. Amanda has studied at The Adelaide Dental Hospital School of Medical Radiation, and more recently at Monash University.

Michael has more than 20 years radiographic experience in both Public and Private practice, and is dedicated to building a centre of excellence.

Top Quality Diagnostic Imaging Service
Hobart received a further health boost today when Hobart Dental Imaging became an accredited diagnostic imaging service, recognising the quality and safety of their service.
The Diagnostic Imaging service has been awarded accreditation by Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP), which is part of Australia’s leading accreditation company managing programs for diagnostic imaging, dentistry, retirement villages, physiotherapy and general practice accreditation.
QIP Chair, Gary Smith, said achieving accreditation demonstrates that the service makes a significant investment in quality on a day-to-day basis from the top down.
“Accreditation is a major achievement and is a clear demonstration that Hobart Dental Imaging is constantly striving to improve their level of service to their clients and the community,’ he said.
“Diagnostic Imaging services seek accreditation through QIP because they want to be the best and this is another step towards excellence."
The QIP Accreditation framework is based on national standards that are set by the Commonwealth Department of Health.
Accreditation is a program that aims to provide a range of guarantees to clients by accrediting the environment of the service.
To achieve this endorsement, Hobart Dental Imaging has demonstrated that they meet all standards set by the Commonwealth Department of Health.
Practice Manager, Amanda Vermey said accreditation was attained through the cooperation and communication among staff members.
"Everyone in the practice played a valuable role in ensuring we met the Standards. The recognition of working in an accredited practice gives our dedicated staff a feeling of prestige," said Ms Vermey.
Hobart Dental Imaging is proud to confirm they display the QIP accreditation logo at their practice.
“We want to communicate to our clients that their well-being is our priority. QIP Accreditation assures patients we are committed to providing care which meets the Standards,” says Ms Vermey.
